About Me
Hello there
My name is Lucy and I am foraging tutor based in Oban on the West Coast of Scotland.
Growing up in the rolling hills of beautiful Shropshire, England I have cultivated my passion for the environment. After graduating in anthropology and archaeology at Edinburgh University I found that culture, food, and nature can combine and have been happy and in love with foraging ever since!
For seven years I have taught myself the basics of wild food with every walk being an opportunity to learn more.
It is my life's pleasure to introduce folk to the art of foraging so they get to know their own wild places through a love of wild food.
I regularly run workshops in Ballachulish in the Scottish Highlands and my hometown of Much Wenlock, Shropshire and am always open to travelling to new places too.

A delightful meander into the world of foraging. Lucy makes the subject fun and entertaing for both the novice and the more practised

Lucy's warmth, sensitivity, humour and ability to connect with her audience made foraging engaging and exciting. Foraging with Lucy inspired in me a sense of child-like wonder whilst also reminding me and teaching me about my responsibility toward ecology and the role we have as humans within it.
